Bad guys have feeling too - right? Everyone knows the story of the eternal war between the blue-eyed boy from Krypton and his evil nemesis: the bald, maniacal, evil, capitalist industrialist Lex Luthor: he never wins, but then again - he never gives up. This is a comic that switches things around and show you view from the other side: the plight of self-made businessman doing his uttermost to defeat the evil alien threat . I've give them this: it's certainly a very interesting idea and one that the artwork does a lot to help sell (am loving that brooding, shadow-covered Superman depiction) - but Azzarello's trademark dialogue that makes you feel like you're trying to unpick riddles and the clever-clever speechifying - means it's a story that's a little hard to really sink your teeth into. Nice chunky artwork tho.
